As I look through the beautiful photos of my maternity shoot with NicePrint at Concept Room Studio, I couldn’t help but be amazed at the roundness of my belly, that an actual human being is inside.
What a miracle!
What a blessing!
What a wonderful feeling to carry a baby inside of me… and then another thought crossed my mind, messages from women asking for prayers, praying that God will give them a child of their own. Some had been waiting 2 years, some 8 years- some even longer than that…
“Oh please Lord, will you answer the desires of their hearts?”
I remember when I only had Noah, and I badly wanted another baby and friends were getting pregnant again, news of other women getting pregnant here and there and I remember thinking, “Buti pa sila, bakit kaya ako hindi pa ulit?”. And then ofcourse Tobias came 6 years later and now, when Tobias is not even 2 years old and even without really asking God, another one is on the way. HIS PLAN, NOT MINE. HIS TIMING NOT MINE. The good news is- His plan and timing is always perfect.
So to you mama, who is reading this post and looking at my maternity photos, you may be wondering as I once had- “Bakit sya? Paano ako Lord?” Don’t feel bad please, don’t lose hope-
