Don’t let your feelings decide for you.

For the past few days I have been feeling low, sad- reasons I can’t even think about.

Feelings of self doubt, not worthy enough, not doing enough for God.

And the only way to fight through feelings like that is to pray, to cry out to God.. To tell Him everything, for we can’t hide anything from Him, He knows what we’re going through and He knows our hearts. He alone can give us the peace that we need, the satisfaction and the contentment that brings true joy.

Even the most simplest decision, we should come to God in prayer.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

We should also always always go back to His Word, to encourage us and remind us of God’s love. Do not allow your feelings and emotions, and the lies of the devil overcome you. Most of our battle is in the spiritual realm, which is why we need to fight through prayer in Jesus Might Name.

Put on the full armor of God.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Ephesians 6:12-18

Praise you father God! Praise you Lord Jesus! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! For He who began a good work in me, will be faithful to complete it.
