‘Til I met You… God.’

Thanks to ‘the Love Team’ for bringing to life Mira’s dream party! Hahahha and thanks to The Til I Met You team for allowing us to guest and be a part of this wonderful show!
If you saw this week’s episodes of TIMY, you know The story of Mira’s parents (me and bernard), how before mira was born, we had 3 miscarriages.. Through their story, I know God was speaking to me too…
We always get asked “kelan nyo susundan si noah?”, “4 years old na si noah, kailangan na ng kapatid”. And we would just smile and say, “Di pa kami ready” or “Soon” but recently we have been aswering people with “Kung kelan ibibigay ni Lord”.

“Kung kelan ibibigay ni Lord”

– is my acceptance of God’s will over my life.

It has always been my dream to have a big family. Lots and lots of children! 12 to be exact 🙊 Noah just turned 4 and people seem right in saying that ‘It is about time to have another one’– but it’s not that we’re not trying -but we’re also not really trying (magulo ba?) in other words- We are just waiting for it to happen.

When God wills it.

And God knows how many times I expected to be pregnant and yet the tests always come out negative. And for those who have been trying and hoping ang praying- you know how truly disappointing and heartbreaking it is to feel that you are- only to see 1 red line.

“Love the Lord your God will all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind- this is the first and greatest commandent.” Matthew 22:37-38
God reminded me where my heart should be set upon with this verse. God commands us to love Him first before anything else. To set our eyes on Him. On Jesus. To think eternally and not earthly. And while there is nothing wrong with desiring to have a child- we must desire God more thank anything first of all. To find our satisfcation in Him alone.
I still pray for a brother or a sister for noah (or both) 🙊 but I’m also asking God to take away my desire if it is no longer His will for us to have more. And I tell Him I accept His will over my life and will choose to put my trust in Him no matter what. And we will always grateful to Him for Noah. For blessing is with such a beautiful gift that we don’t deserve. Noah was already a bonus. So many bonuses na nga! And yet God even gave His Son Jesus for us so we can be reconciled to Him. (Hallelujah!)

How can we ask for more?

For those who have been praying for something and think that God has been silent or unhearing. Remember these verses and ask God for peace and the strength to trust Him in everything!

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a bright future.

Matthew 6:33 “Seek First the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.”

‘Til I met God, all my desires were selfish, now I seek to please Him in all I do. For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain!
